04Services

Six lines of work,
one standard of care.

Every engagement runs the same disciplined process — feasibility, design, install, commission, hand over. Adapt to scope; never adapt the standard.

Three systems,

Water, power and structure — the disciplines behind every Flowmatic project, dissected layer by layer. Scroll through each to watch it come apart.

01 · Water

Desalination,
engineered.

Reverse-osmosis plants that turn 35‰ seawater into resort-grade product water — pretreatment, high-pressure pumping, energy recovery and membrane arrays, built as a single skid.

02 · Power

Power that
never blinks.

LV distribution from transformer to socket — main boards, busbar risers, standby generation and changeover, earthing and surge protection. Designed and installed end to end.

06Where we work

From Lhaviyani to Addu.

Flowmatic has delivered projects in ten-plus atolls across the Maldivian chain — from the northern Lhaviyani down to Addu in the far south. Resort, infrastructure, and utility scopes; every island reached by sea, every program coordinated from Hulhumalé.

07Where we're going

Two markets the resort
playbook prepared us for.

Hospitality work taught us how to deliver MEP, water and power packages on remote islands with no second chances. The same disciplines now scale to the two largest pipelines in the country — residential housing and public-sector infrastructure.

50%
of Maldivians live in greater Malé — on islands smaller than central Manhattan.
20K+
housing-unit demand backlog across Hulhumalé, Malé and the atolls.
187
inhabited islands needing harbour, water, sewerage, school and clinic upgrades.
$2B+
government-led infrastructure pipeline through 2030 — connectivity, healthcare, utilities.
Vertical 01 · Residential

Housing for a country
that's running out
of square meters.

The greater Malé housing crisis is the most visible engineering problem in the country. Hulhumalé Phase 2 is still building out; Ras Malé and Phase 3 are designed. Demand is structural, not cyclical.

Programs in flight
  • Binveriya — current administration's flagship housing scheme; thousands of units planned in Hulhumalé and Gulhi Falhu.
  • Hiyaa & Vinavi — legacy social housing stock requiring MEP retrofit, lift refurbishment and fit-out completion.
  • Private high-rise — Hulhumalé Phase 2 plots being developed by Maldivian SMEs and joint-venture investors needing MEP & structural subs.
  • Resort-staff housing — every new resort needs a 200-bed BOH compound. Same MEP we already build for the front-of-house side.
What Flowmatic brings
  • Hospitality-grade MEP at residential price points
  • In-house water and powerhouse capability — useful where municipal supply is patchy
  • Comfortable as main contractor or as the MEP specialist sub to a civil prime
  • Fit-out depth from villa work — kitchens, bathrooms, BOH at scale

Vertical 02 · Government & SOE

Public works,
island by island,
contract by contract.

One hundred and eighty-seven inhabited islands each need a harbour, a water system, a sewerage network, a clinic and a school. Climate adaptation stacks on top. The tender pipeline is permanent.

Where the work comes from
  • Ministries — Construction & Infrastructure; Energy & Environment; Health; Education.
  • SOEs & utilities — MWSC, Fenaka, STELCO, HDC, MTCC, FDC; recurring island-level scopes.
  • Atoll & island councils — local-government RFPs for harbour, mosque, ferry terminal and BHU work.
  • Donor-funded — World Bank, ADB and JICA climate, water and resilience programs.
What Flowmatic brings
  • Track record on government and SOE scopes including powerhouse upgrades
  • RO plant + STP design-build — exactly the shape of most island utility tenders
  • Hulhumalé-based mobilisation — no foreign-HQ customs lag, no expat-flight risk
  • Performance-bond comfort & financial governance suited to public procurement
